This makes our food security very volatile especially in times of crisis. despite the increase in our recycling rate, this boosted rate turns out to be largely nominal in nature as the initial stage of food wastage which is the waste generated has not been rectified. This calls the effectiveness of the state interventions on the local food waste issue in the forms of campaigns and implementations, into question. |
