CPF as an economic crisis management instrument.
In this project, we endeavoured to provide an examination of the feasibility of reducing the employer’s CPF contribution rate to cushion the impact of the recession in Singapore in 2001. Within the constraints of our analysis, we recommend that such a reduction is not feasible.
