By eliminating the need for hardware peripherals such as mouse, keyboard, remote control and others, a robust hand gesture interface allows an intuitive control experience by the user for up to 6 degrees of freedom. Application: The gesture interaction system is useful in the development of immersive gaming technology, sign language interpretation, freehand device controllers and robotics. In popular culture, it is often portrayed as the computer interface of the future.
