In this study, nanocomposite AlCrTiSiN coatings were developed and deposited on Carbide coupons (WC with Co binder) substrate using Cathodic Arc Deposition techniques. The resultant coatings were evaluated with respect to fundamental mechanical properties such as hardness, modulus and coating adhesion.
