Analysis and evaluation of China's banking reforms (1978-2006)
China embarked on banking reforms since 1978. As a display of its efforts and determination in fulfilling the terms towards liberalization, China entered the WTO on 11 Dec 2001. Reforms were then geared towards resolving the problems that would impede China’s progress toward full liberalization.
