Informal and formal commerce in coastal tourism : the case of Batu Ferringhi, Penang, Malaysia.
The objective of this research is to find out if the spatial patterns of informal tourism commerce (TI) at the beach resort in Batu Ferringhi, Penang are similar to that earlier found in the three beach resorts of Karon, Kata and Patong in Phuket, Thailand.
