Effect of challenge, control and curiosity on intrinsic motivation in computer gaming for learning

The theory of intrinsically motivating instruction suggests that challenge, control and curiosity are factors influencing intrinsic motivation in learning. In this research, we assessed the effects of challenge, control and curiosity on intrinsic motivation and found support for the theory.
