This paper reports on the use of a classroom response system to enhance classroom interactivity in a systems analysis and design course. The success of the project was assessed using both quantitative and qualitative data. A pretest/posttest design was used to examine the effects of a classroom respons system on interactivity. The results show that a classroom response system can significantly improve classroom interactivity. Qualitative data was also collected to identify the strengths and weaknesses of using a classroom response system to enhance classroom interaction. Based on the quantitative and qualitative results, suggestions and guidelines on using a classroom response system in the classroom settings are discussed. 2006-08-01T07:00:00Z text application/pdf https://ink.library.smu.edu.sg/sis_research/9520 info:doi/10.1109/TE.2006.879802 https://ink.library.smu.edu.sg/context/sis_research/article/10520/viewcontent/Use_of_a_Classroom_Response_System_to_Enhance_Classroom_Interactivity.pdf http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/ Research Collection School Of Computing and Information Systems eng Institutional Knowledge at Singapore Management University Classroom interactivity classroom response system interactivity instrument mobile education mobile and wireless technology Databases and Information Systems Instructional Media Design |
