We explain how the proposed framework can be operationalized as an Automation Readiness Audit Instrument and hence be used to help move the operation through the various stages of automation. In addition, the paper also suggests how the proposed framework can be helpful to decision–makers at the national level in their attempt to help move the country's industries toward automation.
