LAI, Hsiangchu YANG, Yinping At ECRA, there is no area of research and practitioner-relevant research with greater critical mass than the articles contributed by authors who have explored ‘The Behavioral Dimensions of E-Commerce.’ The theoretical underpinnings of the works that are showcase in the virtual special issue (VSI) of the journal are truly interdisciplinary in nature. They span perspectives from Psychology and Cognitive Science, Sociology and Media Studies, Behavioral Decision-Making, Political Science, Economics and Negotiation Science. The methods that ECRA’s authors have used are varied and innovative. They include behavioral intention surveys, and the now-classical methods for establishing associations and causality through structural equation modeling, partial least squares, and experimental designs. They also include interpretative and qualitative research approaches, as well as studies of the human body’s physiognomic responses in eye-tracking research designs. The selected works that we have showcased in this VSI represent articles that have appeared in ECRA between 2007 and 2016, suggesting the centrality of the journal as a key outlet for this kind of research scholarship. 2016-10-01T07:00:00Z text https://ink.library.smu.edu.sg/sis_research/3269 https://www.sciencedirect.com/journal/electronic-commerce-research-and-applications/special-issue/10JKR9Z5912 Research Collection School Of Computing and Information Systems eng Institutional Knowledge at Singapore Management University Computer Sciences E-Commerce |
