This paper presents a review and comparison of monetisation models in a free-to-play gaming. The monetisation is the essential element in a game production process because it helps clarify the design that should be compatible with the monetisation models and revenue generation methods of the game. The investigation is conducted by utilising a set of online questionaires. The results show that the in-game Ads are not bothering the majority of players and players does not pay to remove them. Fashion and uniqueness of player's avatar is more important than the in-game items that would help player in a game. 2019-08-05T04:31:56Z 2019-08-05T04:31:56Z 2019-04-15 Conference Proceeding 2-s2.0-85065083446 10.1109/ECTI-NCON.2019.8692277 https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?partnerID=HzOxMe3b&scp=85065083446&origin=inward http://cmuir.cmu.ac.th/jspui/handle/6653943832/65341 |
