Summary:The purposes of this independent study were to study the factors that affected the working life quality and to study the working life quality of employees at Sriphat Medical Center, Faculty of Medicine, Chiang Mai University. The study was based on the working life quality concept of Management System of Quality of Work Life (MS-QWL), The Human Capacity Building Institute, Federation of Thai Industries. The data was collected from 234 officers. The data was then analyzed by descriptive statistics, e.g., frequency, percentage, mean, as well as inferential statistics, e.g., t-test, one-way ANOVA analysis, Least Significant Difference, Correlation Analysis and Multiple Regression Analysis. The results of the study revealed that the employees at Sriphat Medical Center, Faculty of Medicine, Chiang Mai University had a moderate overall quality of working life. The personnel’s attitudes toward the factors of working life quality were ranked at the high level in the following order: mind, social relation, and spirituality. However, they ranked body, environment and career stability at the moderate level. It was also found that there was a significant positive correlation between their working life quality and the factors that affected the working life quality. The relationship was at 0.484 and the prediction of their overall working life quality was at 23.40%, while 76.60% being affected by the other factors. From the study of statistic significance, it was found that body, social relation, environment, spirituality and career stability affected the working life quality significantly at the level of 0.05. The result also showed that body, social relation, environment, spirituality and career stability were able to predict the working life quality at β = 0.172, 0.137, 0.251, 0.150 and 0.122, respectively.
