The participants were 40 junior high school students who had similar English language competence levels, and trained to read English texts using RTS. The research instruments included RTS teaching materials, reading tests, survey questionnaires, opinions questionnaires, interviews, and teacher logs. Both quantitative and qualitative analysis of the data was conducted. The results revealed that after utilizing RTS, students had higher scores in English reading comprehension and critical thinking indicated at the 0.01 significant level. Their metacognitive awareness also increased. Furthermore, most students were satisfied with the application of RTS in English reading. The findings suggest that RTS can be an engaging technique in a reading class which can stimulate critical thinking and metacognitive awareness and increase students' motivation to improve their English reading abilities and generate more positive attitudes when reading English texts. การศึกษานี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเพิ่มความเข้าใจในการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษ การคิดอย่างมีวิจารณญาณ การตระหนักรู้อภิปัญญาของตนเอง และเพื่อสำรวจความคิดเห็นของนักเรียนหลังการใช้วิธีการสอนแบบแลกเปลี่ยนบทบาท ผู้เข้าร่วมเป็นนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาตอนต้นที่มีระดับความสามารถทางภาษาอังกฤษใกล้เคียงกัน จำนวน 40 คน ซึ่งได้รับการฝึกฝนให้อ่านข้อความภาษาอังกฤษโดยใช้วิธีการสอนแบบแลกเปลี่ยนบทบาท เครื่องมือในการศึกษาประกอบด้วยสื่อการสอนแบบแลกเปลี่ยนบทบาท แบบทดสอบการอ่าน แบบสอบถามกลวิธีในการอ่านแบบสอบถามความคิดเห็น แบบสัมภาษณ์ และบันทึกการสังเกตของครู วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลทั้งเชิงปริมาณและคุณภาพ ผลการวิจัย พบว่า หลังจากใช้วิธีการสอนแบบแลกเปลี่ยนบทบาท นักเรียนมีความสามารถในการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษและการคิดอย่างมีวิจารณญาณสูงขึ้นอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ 0.01 อีกทั้ง นักเรียนมีการตระหนักรู้อภิปัญญาของตนเองเพิ่มขึ้น นอกจากนี้ยังพบว่า นักเรียนส่วนใหญ่รู้สึกพอใจกับการประยุกต์ใช้วิธีการสอนแบบแลกเปลี่ยนบทบาทในการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษ ผลการวิจัยชี้ให้เห็นว่า วิธีการสอนแบบแลกเปลี่ยนบทบาทอาจเป็นเทคนิคที่น่าสนใจในชั้นเรียนการอ่านซึ่งช่วยกระตุ้นการคิด การตระหนักรู้อภิปัญญา รวมทั้งเพิ่มแรงจูงใจของนักเรียนในการพัฒนาความสามารถในการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษและสร้างทัศนคติเชิงบวกมากขึ้นเมื่ออ่านเรื่องภาษาอังกฤษ 2024-01-24T08:57:52Z 2024-01-24T08:57:52Z 2023 Thesis http://kb.psu.ac.th/psukb/handle/2016/19322 en Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Thailand http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/th/ application/pdf Prince of Songkla University |
