Description
Summary:Before planned as reservoir, RRD (Re-Regulating Dam) function as regulated dam which location not far from Susup village. Dam function was to control flow which would be released to downstream with maximum flow 62 m3/s (210 MW). With that capacities, Musi hydropower generation just operated with maximum load during 6 hour in condition at RRD flow 15,5 m3/s. Operation hour Musi hydropower could be longer when aperture in RRD more than 15,5 m3/s. But this thing could not be done because limitation capacities of simpang aur lemau river.<p>In this study hydropower generation RRD Susup is reservoir which will be proposed built at simpang aur river which located at susup village, sub province of North Bengkulu. By planned RRD as reservoir was expected become solution to maximize Musi hydropower operation according to preliminary design, and become new source energy that is RRD Susup hydropower generation which give benefit to society. This hydropower generation built with reservoir inflow are stochastic monthly flow from upstream simpang aur river and determenistic monthly flow which from turbine outflow Musi hydropower generation. <br />
