This simulation can be seen as three dimension graphic (3D), it can measure 7 degree of freedom, simulation environment is close to the real condition, measuring the dynamic response of vehicle suspension in variety of the real situation, analyzing the simulation result on the user position, and analyzing a different mass distribution. In addition, the simulation result is not just a graphical image but it can also be sensed as if we ride the vehicle.<p>In this research the author conduct a modeling of vehicle suspension dynamic system, ranging from one eighth, one fourth, half, and entire vehicle whether passive or active. The real form of a suspension system is a free body diagram based on three mechanical basic components, that is spring, mass and damper. Furthermore, Lagrange equation is used for verification through kinetic energy, potential energy, dissipation function, and motion equation so that a similar result can be obtained and arranged in matrix.<p>Simulation is conducted by giving a different parameter on two cars so that it obtains a different damping ratio, one on under damped condition and another on critical damping condition. The testing is conducted in several conditions such as hollow road, wavy road, turning road, and braking, with the aid of C++ software, Open Dynamic Engine and OpenGL. <br /> <br /> text
