In process and oil & gas industries, the event is meant to be the failure of pressure boundaries such as pipe wall, pressure vessel wall, etc. The activity in assessing the level of existing risks is called “risk assessment”, which has to be carried out in accordance to relevant codes concerning to it so that the risk can be minimalized. <br /> <br /> <br /> In this bachelor thesis is intended to develop a program to help executing the risk assessment, calculation specifically based on API 581 Risk Based Inspection Base Resource Document code. This bachelor thesis focuses on risk assessment for CO2 Removal, in Arun LNG Plant to determine the risk in each equipment. <br /> <br /> <br /> The analysis of the case study results in a finding that the CO2 Removal Unit in Arun LNG Project are dominated by flammable and toxic risks. The highest risk category is high donated by flammable risk, 13% and toxic risk, 33% <br /> <br /> <br /> for all equipment. Exercises also had been done using operation pressure, H2S concentration, and corrosion rate parameters. The results show that flammable and toxic risk rate will as linear increase when the parameters are increased. Risk category become high when the corrosion rate is large than 0.7 mm/year. text
