Summary: | Equipment criticality rating is a method to determine the role of equipment to other equipment based on the impact of failures in the production process. The purpose of ECR is to simplify maintenance activity execution and provision of spare parts. By doing ECR, it is expected that the number of emergency work orders will be reduced. It make a lot of work orders can be planned so that the wrench time can be improved. Reduction of emergency work orders can be used to improve the preventive maintenance rather than corrective maintenance that is reactive. On the other hand, the provision of spare parts became optimal, because provision of spare parts that is less important be <br />

reduced. This task of scholars is to discuss the procedures for implementing ECR in a company. The company divides the critical level of equipment into four categories of groups, namely vital, essential, supporting and operating. ECR Test conducted in the CO2 removal subsystem in the gas plant. The result of ECR is analyzed in order to know whether the procedure execution in accordance with the objectives of the ECR or not, the definition of criticality levels of equipment was also examined to determine if the result can be customized with the intial definition or not. Based on the results of the analysis of field data that can be obtained, it is known that by performing ECR that follow the normalization procedure will not achieve the initial purpose. To achieve the initial purpose, the normalization procedure is not necessary. Definition of critical equipment in the company was not clearly defined, so it is difficult to compare definition of the results of the calculations and definitions of the initial definition. For that, there should be a review of the initial definition and provision of more complete data. |
