| Summary: | This thesis will study about maintenance service contract for warranted product between the consumer and the product manufacturer after the warranty already expired. In the thesis, ordinary deductible will be used as policy modification to modify the repair cost of corrective maintenance that will be performed by product manufacturer during service contract period. Total demand of service contract will only be affected by the price of service contract and amount of deductible that offered by manufacturer to consumer. The main problem that will be faced by manufacturer is to determine the optimal price of service contract or optimal amount of deductible to gain maximum total profit. |
