Summary: | Informal energy audit has done in Geothermal Power Plant X on turbine device, because it is the most important component in power plant. The implementation of audit refer to technical guidance of energy audit from Ministry of Industrial Affairs. Meanwhile the method which is used refers to standard published by ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) i.e. PTC (Performance Test Codes) 6. <br />

In data taking process there is an obstacle, server down, so not all parameter can be taken. During on year (July 2012 - June 2013) which is asked, the complete data only for six months, October 2012, December 2012, January 2013, February 2013, May 2013, and June 2013. Data parameters which can be got are mass flow rate, inlet turbine pressure, inlet turbine temperature, gross electrical power, pressure before scrubber, temperature before scrubber and specific steam consumption. The result is steam rate and heat rate value as a work parameter of geothermal power plant. The value of actual steam rate is 6.80 kg/kWh and the value of actual heat rate is 18,883.71 kJ/kWh, meanwhile the value of steam rate and heat rate based on first overhaul data is 6,72 kg/kWh and 18,682.14 kJ/kWh. With this value, it can be said that the turbine is in good performance. |
