Summary:Solar power plant is one of many renewable energy power plants that is recently considered by many countries to subtitute fossil fuel or unrenewable energy power plants in the near future. Indonesia as one of a country that located in equator line has a very high solar energy potential because of the availability of the sun for a whole year hence it’s unfortune for not using this potential. Based on those facts, in this final assignment, a planning study of solar power plant will be done in one of Indonesia electrical system which is Kalimantan Selatan – Tengah electrical system. This final assignment will calculate the sum of modules, strings, and arrays from the designated solar power plant. Then a transient analysis will be held when the solar power plant subjected to the main system by using software Digsilent Power Factory 15.1. The transient analysis will be held to observe the frequency on a particular bus in the system in a normal condition and when the system subjected by a disturbances. And last, by using software PVSyst 6.4.3, energy result of solar power plant for a whole year will be calculated and the results of the calculation will be used in feasibilty price calculation by using LCOE method where the cost per-Kwh of solar power plant will be compared with feed in tariff which is stipulated in Permen ESDM No.12 Tahun 2017.
