Conducting Job Analysis to Increase Employee performance of Kopi Encus

Culinary industry in Indonesia is one of a strategic sector for economic development in Indonesia. Nowadays culinary isn't just a consumptive product used to satisfy human's biological needs, but now people also making culinary as a lifestyle. Statistics Indonesia (Badan Pusat Statistik) said that food and beverage industry growth rose up to 0.41% compared to 2017 (BPS, 2018). This proofs us that the growth of culinary is liked by the people of Indonesia, meanly in Bandung. One kind of culinary that become the most liked by the businessman and youngsters is coffee shop. Association of Indonesia coffee Exporters and Industries (AICE) said that said that coffee drinkers are increasing every year. <br /> <br /> Kopi Encus is one of Bandung's cafe located in Sukajadi street, Bandung. Founded in 2013 by Niko Matias as the owner. Based on interview the result show that Kopi Encus experience decreasing number of customer. That is because Kopi Encus have decreases in employee performance. Decreases in employee performance because employee have unclear with the work they are doing. Also have overlapping work when working that caused the service given to customers is not maximum. <br /> <br /> To prevent that, job analysis is needed. Job analysis can help Kopi Encus to create a system by managing job description and job specification. By doing a job analysis the workers will know what they need to do clearly and no longer overlap the work.
