Summary: | E-learning comes as a form of convenience generated by technological developments. There are still many obstacles that exist in the implementation of e-learning, especially for students. One example of such problems is the lack of student motivation in accessing e-learning. This happens because there is no fun and interesting things in e-learning that make students enjoy learning and feel engagement (engagement) when using e-learning.

Gamification is a process that presents game elements in a non-game context. Gamification is a strategy to make something less fun and boring into something more interesting and challenging. This is why gamification is considered capable to attract students' motivation in using e-learning.

In this study, researchers will design and implement gamification on e-learning with a website-based that will be tested on the students of SMA Nasional Kota Bandung. Case study material used is Three Variable Linier Equation System. Gamification is made using Mechanic Dynamic Aesthetic (MDA) Framework because the framework not only considers the designer's way of designing a game but also the emotional attention of the user when using the game. After the implementation and testing of the students who are interested in using e-learning of 45.3%, who are not interested in 24.2% with the gamification. |
