Agincourt Resources (PTAR) will become problem for mining process, so dewatering process must be conducted. Dewatering plan is applied with pumping wells and drain holes in mining location. Accurate drilling for pumping wells and drain holes increases groundwater drawdown. However, the aquifer in the area dominated by highly fractured media which have complex heterogeneity and give a lot of difficulty in dewatering design. Therefore, detail hydrogeologic model and simulation is needed for determining pumping wells and drain hole drilling location in the research area. Hydrogeologic simulation of the research area is conducted to decrease groundwater level in Purnama Pit using five dewatering scenarios plan, which are (1) no drain hole simulation, (2) 50 drain holes added with uniform range between holes (20 m) simulation, (3) 40 drain holes added limited to places with high K value simulation, (4) 50 drain holes added with uniform range between holes (20 m) and (5) three pumping wells with 6 l/s of pumping rate simulation, and 40 drain holes added limited to places with high K value and three pumping wells with 6 l/s of pumping rate. Results of the hydrogeologic simulation show groundwater drawdown which are 3 – 5 m (first simulation), 3 – 8 m (second simulation), 4 – 9.5 m (third simulation), 5 – 12 m (fourth simulation) and 7 – 14.5 (fifth simulation). The most optimum dewatering in Purnama pit is the fifth simulation (40 drain holes added limited to places with high K value and three pumping wells with 6 l/s of pumping rate). Based on mass balance calculation, the simulation result 30.531 l/day of groundwater discharge rate with 7 – 14.5 m of groundwater level drawdown in a year

text
