Description
Summary:Handling Roads in Manokwari Regency requires a good handling management, especially in determining priorities. Some of the main obstacles faced in handling road networks include the vastness of the area that must be addressed, the scattered community centers, the unequal distribution of the population and economic resources, and the regional mindset that is still regional. Limited access to land or road infrastructure, so that access between districts (several districts) and access between villages has not been fully integrated. This condition is very influential on the acceleration and even distribution of development which results in regional disparities both in terms of social, economic, cultural and educational aspects. Therefore, this study uses a multi-criteria analysis method to determine the priority of handling urban roads in Manokwari Regency. The multi criteria analysis method used is the Analitycal Hierarchy Proccess (AHP). The criteria used in this study are: (1) Economy with sub-criteria is the potential of natural resources, (2) Technical sub-criteria are road conditions and road handling costs, (3) Social-Environment with sub - criteria social conditions and environment , and (4) Network Integration with sub-criteria is integration into the activity center and integration into the transportation node. In this research Criteria weighting analysis uses Sofware Expert Choice 11. The most important criteria according to respondents are technical and the most important sub-criteria is the potential of natural resource. The road handling priority program is done by comparing the performance matrix of every roads as the result of multiplying the weighting of criteria result. This research obtained the road handling structural improvement (reconsturction) of Waminda-Ugejek as first priority.
