Summary:The implementation of the strategy in China has gradually shifted many of China's general contracting engineering business from domestic to international markets. However, with the fierce competition in the international general contracting engineering market, the occurrence of financial crisis, and the uncertainty of changes in the international economic situation, the risks of international engineering general contracting are also increasing. Many China overseas engineering enterprises have made profits falling or even losing money in the international engineering market. The main reason is that in addition to the external environmental reasons and some general contractors because of internal management is not effective, one of the most important reasons is the lack of understanding of the risk management in the aspect of international engineering general contracting, risk and its hazard, scientific and reasonable countermeasures and methods of risk management, which has a great impact on the development of the international engineering general contracting field. ii Based on this background, the final project will be researched the risk management of International EPC project by the case study –S power plant project and literature review. The researcher has the work experience in the S power plant project, therefore, he knows its situation for risk management. For case study, this research will adopted the interview method to collect data, in accordance with the interviews result, the risks will get and display by the research construct and risk checklist. Then, the interviewees scored the risk identified for probability of risk occurrence and risk impact level. Depend on the probability/impact matrix, the prioritize risks will screen out, then, give the risk response. Finally, the researcher will identify 5 major risks that affect the implementation of international EPC projects and give the corresponding proposed business solutions for the reference of china overseas engineering enterprises. Due to lack historical data, thus, the qualitative risk analysis will use for data interpretation.
