Summary: | Ciletuh-Palabuhanratu Geological Park assessed by UNESCO as a geopark that has great potential because of its diversity, a combination of beautiful scenery, mountains, waterfalls, fields, rivers that end at sea, set in April 2018. This study aims to determine the preferences and factors of tourists that are important to determine strategic development programs that increase tourist visits. The method used in this analysis is factor analysis and descriptive statistical with 200 respondents. The results shown KMO MSA = 0.859> 0.5 (Cut-off), and Cronbach's Alpha = 0.736, which explained that the amount of data was enough, reliable, and each response item was valid. Further data processing uses factor analysis with varimax rotation.
The results showed that 7 important factors were formed, namely: Tourist Safety Guarantee (safety and security), Accessibility of infrastructure and facilities, Service quality, and Information Centre, Accommodation, clarity of tour packages, and Promotion. Conclusion: This is recommended to the government in developing Tourist Guarantee Programs; Improved accessibility and facilities; Programs to Improve Information and Promotion and Marketing, Development of tourism objects, Development of public-private cooperation in investment in attractive tourism objects; Human Resource Capacity Development Program; Tourism Product Standardization Program; Travel and Partnership Improvement.
