Therefore, this research aims to estimate project completion’s cost and time, and design the implementation of solution to PT XYZ. Earned value management (EVM) method is used to estimate project completion cost or called as estimate at completion (EAC), whereas earned schedule (ES) method is used to estimate project completion time, or known as independent estimate at completion (IEAC). Application of both methods done by Macro Excel to help company to compute and illustrate the project’s condition. Results show that the estimation of project’s completion cost is Rp14.258.931.984,81 with the duration 53,55 weeks on 29th week, cost estimation on 34th week is Rp14.303.278.417,55 with the duration 50,17 weeks, while cost estimation on 39th week is Rp14.222.775.586,60 with the duration 46,43 weeks. To make project monitoring easier, this research also develops monitoring dashboard so that estimation of project completion’s cost and time can be done at any time. It will be very beneficial for Project Manager and other stakeholders. EVM and ES computation’s result describe how long the project’s delay on cost and time. Therefore, it can detect delay and over budget that happened at the same time, so company can decide which one must be overcome first. There are some steps must be done by company to implement this method using monitoring dashboard, such as SOP arrangement, socialization, and training. text |
