This paper explains the motion capture of badminton players that will resulted to a stickman 3D animated motion from the hardware aspect and the user interface of this motion capture system. Markers will be use in to certain body parts of badminton players. The hardware used in this motion capture system is an active LED marker and uses a camera with certain configurations. Badminton players will do movements recorded using 5 units camera. The data generated from each camera is in the form of coordinate positions (x, y) and will be reconstructed 3D into coordinates (x, y, z) of 2D data per camera. Data from the results of the reconstruction can be used to analyze the possibility of back injury caused by repetitive extreme position movements. The analysis using the kinematics and kinetics data. The motion capture process will be presented in an integrated user interface. There are intrinsic calibration menu, extrinsic calibration menu, frame synchronization menu, 3D reconstruction menu, motion animation menu, and analysis menu.
