Summary: | Stroke patients in Indonesia grew bigger year to year, in 2013 the amount of people with Stroke
older than 15 years old was up to 7 per thousand people, and in 2018 the number reached 10,9
per thousand people, this meant at least 10 from a thousand people in Indonesia has Stroke.
Stroke is a disease that causes disability for the patient, this makes the disability number in
Indonesia grow from time to time. Therefore it is important for Stroke patients to adapt to their
normal life with rehabilitation after the Stroke attack happened, rehabilitation is best done in
very early stages after the attack, and no later than 6 months after the attack, because 6 months
is the golden time for Stroke patients to relearn and adapt into normal life. In this research I
used 3 methods to gather data, the methods are observing the Stroke patients, interviewing
them, and gathering data from books and literature. From what I gathered, I found that the
problem with the elderly is they spend much more time being passive in front of the screen
instead of trying to do rehabilitation. To solve the problem I designed several alternatives that
utilize the passive time the elderly spent in front of their screen and make the time useful as
they can rehabilitate while they play. |
