However, the development of jazz in Indonesia is inharmonious with a good supporting performance art facility. Most of the times the performance are not performed in the proper space. In other words, it is important to preserve every single aspects of jazz music in Indonesia. This effort could be done by fusing together local culture and Western culture to break the stigma that jazz is an “elite music”. text |
