INSTITUT TEKNOLOGI BANDUNG https://digilib.itb.ac.id/gdl/view/49468 Such rapidly evolving technological changes must be followed by changes in individual role enhancement abilities across activities, as well as increased business change and business productivity changes. From the internal side to improve business productivity, the development of employees, especially through On The Job Development (OJD), becomes very important in encouraging the achievement of workplace performance that positively impacts the increase in business productivity. The lack of development by employees and the low value of the assessment of the implementation of OJD is the symptom of OJD implementation problems in PT X. Therefore, this study discusses and determines the factors that significantly influence positively between OJD towards workplace performance. This Model of research suggests that the variables Suitable Work Identification, Work Assignment, Work Completion and Sense of Achievement (Personal Growth) will influence positively on workplace performance. This research will use Ordinary Least Square method, with the number of 323 respondents. Where the sample count is calculated with the formula Slovin according to the number of employees of each position level from various positions and working time. The indicators used in this research are the synthesis of previous research indicators with the current operational conditions using Confirmatory Factor Analysis and as many as 39 item statements/Indicators used in this study. The final result of this research is that the variables Suitable Work Identification, Work Assignment, Work Completion and Sense of Achievement (Personal Growth) are the variable OJD that together positively influence workplace performance. The Model of the research is expected to be used as a guide by industrial support companies of PT X especially in developing employees who have a positive influence on workplace performance and will ultimately positively impact the increase in business productivity. text
