According to the Food and Drug Administration (2017), the maximum concentration that allows in a product is 7.5 percent. Therefore, the aims of this research aims were to inventorize a new method of determining the concentration of OMC in sample. In this research, literature have been searched using keywords (“VALIDATION METHOD” AND (“OCTINOXATE” OR “OCTYL METHOXYCINNAMATE”) AND “HIGH PERFORMANCE LIQUID CHROMATOGRAPHY”). From the selected literature, this research used High Performance liquid Chromatography (HPLC) method with C18 column, methanol and water for injections (WFI) as a mobile phase, and PDA detector at a wavelength of 310 nm. text
