Summary: | Mining activities are is sequence of exploring, excavation, transporting, selling and post mining activities along with research on mineral and coal. One of the main activities carried out by PT Mifa Bersaudara is transporting coal from Pit to stockpile area or Coal Crushing Plan (CCP). In order to know the fleet performance, therefore, a study related to the compatibility betweeen loader and hauler, which is determining the match factor of loader and hauler for each fleet and ideal number of loader and hauler is carried out.
The data that used in this study are cycle time of loader and hauler that obtained by direct observation at PT Mifa Bersaudara’s Pit, loader specification, hauler specification, the number of loader and hauler. The results of this study are as follows : a) actual productivity of fleet no 4023, 3172, 3173, 3201 are 309 ton/hour, 186 ton/hour, 190 ton/hour, 198 ton/hour, in respectively; b) actual match factor of fleet no 4023, 3172, 3173, 3201 are 0,65, 0,78, 0,76, 0,81, in respectively; c) the actual mining equipment (hauler of 18 units are combined together with 4 units of loader) is quite enough to fulfil the daily production target, however, 1 unit dozer ripper as supporting unit must be provided at mining front . |
