Description
Summary:West Java Province is one of the provinces with the largest manufacturing sector. According to Keputusan Menteri Perhubungan No.87 of 2017 concerning the Patimban Port Master Plan, the manufacturing sector has even become the sector with the highest contribution to the gross regional domestic product of West Java Province, reaching up to 43,03%. With the large manufacturing sector in West Java, 70% of domestic cargo is produced on the island of Java, with one of its centers in West Java. However, the amount of cargo produced is not comparable to existing facilities because West Java still relies on Tanjung Priok Port as the main port for the distribution of goods by sea. In addition, the use of Tanjung Priok Port also increases accommodation costs due to the high level of congestion around Tanjung Priok Port, thus increasing costs that should be trimmed.Consider to these, facilities were built that could accommodate cargo distribution activities by sea, a port with one of the main components in the form of a berth structure. One of the berth structures built at Patimban Port is a berth structure for a container terminal built in the north of Subang Regency. In this Final Project regarding the Design of Container Terminal Port Structures Phase 1-1 Patimban Port, discussed the design of the berth structure based on the design criteria used as a requirement for designing the berth structure. The design of the berth structure includes the collection and processing of secondary data, the calculation of the dimensions of the berth structure and the structural elements of the berth, the modeling of the berth structure, the design of the reinforcement of the structural elements of the berth, and the analysis of the bearing capacity of the soil.In this final project, the results of secondary data collection and processing are used to obtain the initial dimensions of the berth structure and the structural elements of the berth. The initial dimensions of the structure and the structural elements of the berth are then used for modeling using SAP2000 software to determine the reliability of the structure against working loads. The modeling results are in the form of unity check ratio, structural deflection, internal force, and placement reaction. Internal force is used for reinforcement and the laying reaction is used for soil bearing capacity analysis. The final result of this final project is a design of the dimensions of the structure and structural elements of the berth, details of reinforcement, and depth of the piling plan.
