Project schedule control is a part of project controlling with the purpose to keep the project on line in accordance with the project goal, that is the completion of the works on time according to the schedule that has been determined The project time control management should cover all processes which are needed to assure that the project can be accomplished on time. During this phase, measurement and monitoring are conducted regularly, to evaluate the actual result, and then comparing with the original design to see if there is any deviation on site or not. <br />

Road Improvement And Bridge Replacement Of West Java Province Project as a project in Directorate General Of Regional Infrastructure Development Ministry Of Settlement And Regional Infrastructure, faces some problems in the project controlling, especially the project time control. Some packages often need the time extension of the construction period to complete the project. This time extension is needed because of mismanagement by the employer and / or by the contractor. As a result the objective of the project that is to serve the public by improving of road capacity is often not achieved. <br />
<br />
To solve this problem, it is need a course of action that is by identifying and analyzing the main causes, developing the alternatives course of action and then deciding the priority of the course of action to be taken according to the criteria has been determined Based on the priority of the course of action, then the effort that must be conducted by the project is evaluated and analyzed to each element of project organization. The last step is to implement the priorities of the course of action toward organization, manpower resources and environment. By this implementation, it is expected that the project execution according to the original schedule will be achieved more effectively and efficiently. |
