Description
Summary:The growth of productive age in Indonesia from year to year has increased, followed by increasing urbanization to urban areas. And at this time Indonesia is entering the era of demographic bonuses that occurred in the range of 2020 to 2030, namely the change in the age structure of Indonesian society which is characterized by a decrease in the ratio between the number of nonproductive ages to the number of productive ages. The increase in population does not necessarily reflect more interactions that occur in society, on the contrary, it causes drastic changes in social, economic, and environmental aspects. Therefore, currently, housing is needed that can cover the social and physical needs of residents, namely co-living space. The purpose of this study is to explore the forming factors of inhabited behavior and understand inhabited behavior among millennials in Indonesia. In previous research related to co-living space has been done by several researchers from outside, one of the research in Turkey that found behavioral-forming factors in residential-sharing are economic, social, and environmental factors. However, in Indonesia related research has not been found, so further research is needed because of the differences in the social and cultural background of its people. This research focused on millennials with the age range of 20 years to 39 years, this is because millennials play a large role in the age of the labor force so that the increasing number of urbanization to urban compared to the previous generation or the next generation. The data analysis method used is the EFA method with the help of questionnaires distributed to 190 respondents online, which aims to identify factors among a number oflatent variables that are used as measuring items from questionnaires to measure inhibited behavior in residential-sharing so that relevant constructs are found. The results of the analysis found 10 factors that determine residential-sharing behavior for millennials. namely public facilities, place attachment, feeling of satisfaction, intrinsic, extrinsic, group development, and workspace availability.
