E-commerce companies employ many of them either as interns, contracts, or permanent employees. However, e-commerce is synonymous with competitive culture, and many demands to be independent and proactive in their work. This is a challenge for generation z which if they cannot handle it properly, it will become a stress in itself, which over time can become burnout. In this context, job burnout is related to a prolonged response to chronic emotional and interpersonal stress at work (Maslach et al., 2001). This study aimed to determine how the influence of organizational culture and employee involvement on job burnout and what factors influence stress in the workplace. This study specifically selects Generation Z who work in e-commerce companies. In this research, the approach method used is by conducting interviews with several people to get an overview and distribute questionnaires filled out by 180 respondents who belong to Generation Z. The responses were analyzed using multiple linear regression. These results indicate that there is a significant effect between employee engagement and job burnout. Still, different results are shown in an organizational culture, which does not significantly affect job burnout. These results can occur because Generation Z is tech-savvy who searches everything on the internet first, including before applying for a job. Based on this research, it is known that about 56% of the respondents experienced a moderate level of job burnout. There are six categories of factors that cause job burnout: workload, control, reward, community, fairness, and value. Of the six categories of factors, workload and control are the most contributing factors to a person's perceived job burnout. The workload is closely related to the amount of work and overtime, while control is related to demands from superiors. There are several preventions in this study following psychology to avoid the increasing number of job burnout. text
