Summary: | To improve income, every businessman will use many strategies so that consumer
will buy their product. One of those strategies is doing a promotion. With
promotion, a businessman will have to spent some money so that he will get return
that is equal or more to the money that he spent. The promotion which one have to
spent money in order to gain more as an investment that has a return with its own
risk can be classified as an invenstation that has its own return and risk. Markowitz
Model can be used in order to improve return with every possible risk. Markowitz
model as one of many used models by investor to maximize their portfolio return,
will be applicated into marketing through promotion. A promotion that is optimum
that can make every money that is spent will get a maximum return will be achieved
by doing modification to the Markowitz model. In the end, Markowitz Model can
be used for analysis not only for assets but also discount products. |
