Description
Summary:On the Sigli – Banda Aceh Toll Road Section 1 has a hilly contour and construction work is carried out using the open cut method. To achieve the Finish Grade (FG) of the Toll Road at STA 15+425 to 15+700, excavations are carried out with a planned excavation slope height of up to 40 meters so that a slope stability analysis must be carried out with recommendations for appropriate slope protection and resloping to maintain slope stability excavation. Several alternative slope protection that will be evaluated include using Shotcrete with wiremesh, and Type III Geomat HDPE Reinforcement Mats. This study aims to analyze the stability of the excavation slopes and evaluate the protection performance of the excavation slopes, limited to 2 (two) alternative slope protection aspects of cost, implementation time, ease of implementation and slope safety. The results of this study are expected to provide an evaluation of the proposed slope protection, so that excavation slope protection is more efficient, faster and also the safety of the deep excavation slopes can be guaranteed as long as the toll road operates.
