Summary: | The main role of a bank in economy of a country is becoming financial intermediary. Bank collects fund from depositories in a form of third-party fund consisted of CASA (Current Account and Saving Account) and Time Deposit then channel the fund to debtors in a form of loan. Thus, CASA is essential for the banking sector. Bank Capital Power (not the actual name), experienced a decrease in CASA started from 2021. One of the causes is the CASA was leaked to other banks for investment purpose. There are numerous banks in Indonesia that offered similar products and services that increased the competition between banks. The management of Bank Capital Power implemented Windmill Project in Bandung Branch to train PRM in order to enhance the marketers’ capabilities to handle the customers wealth portfolio in Bank Capital Power to compete with other marketers.
The purpose of the study is to evaluate the implementation of the project and advise Bank Capital Power on the project continuation. The data used to assess the Windmill Project is a primary data collected from Bank Capital Power period October 2021 until December 2022, also secondary data from other previous studies. This study employed three methods to evaluate the Windmill Project namely ROI (Return on Investment), CBA (Cost-Benefit Analysis), and Difference Tests of Profit Generated using Kruskal-Wallis and Mann-Whitney U Test to see if the training profit result is statistically different.
Result for the ROI is 141.87% and the Cost-Benefit Ratio is 2.18597, indicating that the project generated positive result. In addition, Kruskal-Wallis and Mann Whitney Test result show that the project produced statistically significant different profit compared to the previous period. Based on the findings, this study suggested Windmill Project should be continued and implemented in other branches of Bank Capital Power.
