Gladak Mainroad Bridge is one of the sub-projects of the Yogyakarta-Bawen
Toll Road Construction Project under Section 5: Ambarawa-Temanggung, which
connects separate sections of the toll road separated by a slope with the Gladak
River underneath. The purpose of this final project is to design a foundation system
that can support the load of the superstructure and facilitate the stability of the
existing slope, as well as the required excavations in construction by designing
retaining walls.
The foundation used in this final project is a bored pile foundation with a
diameter of 1.8 meters and varying depths. The design analysis is carried out
through axial load analysis of single and grouped piles, lateral capacity analysis
of single piles using the LPILE software, lateral load capacity analysis of pile
groups using the GROUP software, settlement analysis, and differential settlement
between foundations. The reinforcement of the bored pile foundation and pile cap
is designed using the spColumn software.
The slope of the Mainroad Gladak Bridge is divided into two sections to
facilitate slope stability analysis. Slope stability is facilitated by two different types
of slope reinforcements: secant piles and soil nailing. Excavation and slope
stability analysis are performed using the PLAXIS 2D software with the Mohr-
Coulomb soil model. The excavation carried out to facilitate slope stability varies
for each slope, adjusting to the contour of the soil for each slope. The analysis
results for the left slope reinforcement are facilitated by secant piles with a depth
of 20 meters and soil nailing with a depth of 10.75 meters. The analysis results for
the right slope reinforcement are facilitated by secant piles with a depth of 13
meters and soil nailing with a depth of 8.8 meters. Soil nailing for both slopes is
required along a length of 12 meters with a borehole diameter of 0.3 meters,
reinforced by 35mm nail reinforcement. The face of the soil nailing is designed with
a 0.3-meter-thick shotcrete wall reinforced with wire mesh. |
