Batik is a textile inherited from our ancestors and is the identity of the Indonesian nation. Dressing beautifully and attractively is a necessity for society in today's modern era, so they are able to make batik into fashion products and clothing accessories, using basic batik materials or batik combinations. As time goes by, batik has experienced many developments, starting from colors, motifs, models, to its use, one of which is the millennial generation. However, currently there is also a growing stigma that the millennial generation has the perception that batik clothing has a stiff, very formal and old-fashioned impression. This research was carried out with the aim of finding out how the millennial generation perceives the use of batikpatterned clothing when used casually in everyday life, then finding out what motifs and color combinations will be chosen a lot, as well as what kind of clothing models will be suitable for casual clothing. batik. The methodology that will be used in this research is descriptive analytical, namely by studying several literature studies related to batik and casual clothing, then later it will be studied as material for questionnaire questions which will later be distributed to respondents. The questionnaire will then be calculated to obtain the results of this research. The results obtained are that the current millennial generation largely agrees that batik patterned clothing can be worn casually in everyday life, it's just that you have to pay attention to several things when choosing clothing, starting from the color, motif and also the design of the batik clothing. They prefer neutral colors with monotonous or regular batik motifs, so they can be more easily combined with other casual clothes.
