Summary:In the field of hospitality, human resources are undeniably the most valuable asset. Leaders in this industry must carefully consider how to attract exceptional individuals and effectively tap into the talents and potential of their employees to help meet the goals and objectives of the organization. One effective approach to enhancing staff performance is by implementing a comprehensive training program. By providing employees with the necessary skills and knowledge, organizations can empower their workforce to perform at their highest potential. This study was conducted at Padma Hotel Bandung, a five-star hotel located in Bandung. The main objective of this research was to analyze the effects of a comprehensive training program on the overall performance of the hotel's employees, with a brief focus on the impact it had on the quality of service provided to guests. The training program spanned a duration of four months and covered essential topics that were meticulously planned and organized by the Corporate Training Manager. In order to evaluate the efficacy of the training program, the researcher employs a refined qualitative approach, utilizing insightful interviews, analyze using descriptive method, and gathering supplementary data from reputable sources such as journals and internal company records. Moreover, researcher utilized the Kirkpatrick Model, a theoretical framework widely recognized for evaluating the outcomes of training program. Findings of the research, the author discovered that the primary objective of the training program is to enhance the performance of employees. This training program has effectively contributed to the enhancement of employees' skills, knowledge, and overall performance. As a result, the improved performance has resulted in heightened satisfaction among all the guests who choose to stay at the hotel. Ultimately, the author concludes that while the training program implemented by the hotel has shown promising results, there are certain aspects that require evaluation and improvement in order to further enhance the quality of the core training program in the future.
