However, this development will eventually lead to saturation. To deal with this problem, innovation is needed for a business owner to stand out in the market, one of which is the implementation of an interactive AR- based ordering system for cafes. Therefore, in this research, a prototype of an Augmented Reality-based cafe service application system that is fully developed based on the cloud is formulated and realized. From the studies that have been conducted, there are already prototypes that propose 3D menu that is integrated with Augmented Reality, but are not equipped with an ordering feature directly through the application. Therefore, an integrated ordering system is designed with additional features that utilize Augmented Reality. For accessibility, the application is developed for web which is then served through a back-end server that also acts as an endpoint for the Application Programming Interface for the front-end of the system. Database and storage are also developed on the cloud to support the back- end functions. The system is then tested through performance tests for the back-end and functionality tests for the integrated system between the front-end and back- end. The test results show that the system is easy to use, encourages ordering efficiency in cafes, and is proven to provide reliable system responses. This research is expected to encourage innovation in the retail business to be more confident in competing in the market. text
