Summary: | Standard logarithmic equation was applied at water coral reef region around Derawan island with rough topography and at Bagan with smooth topography. Some factors like tidal acceleration/deceleration, interaction between wave and current, water stratification, and also topograhy may caused logarithmic profile deviation. From research, it was resulted that the logarithmic standard equation best applied at Derawan Reef 2007 with acceptable precentage 96,23 %, and the worst occured at West Masimbung Reef with acceptable precentage 81,09 %. Logarithmic profile in water coral reef region influenced by topography and also current velocity vector. The highest average logarithmic layer height occured at Derawan Reef 2007 reached 11,8 m above the sea bed (depth around 15 m), and the lowest occured in West Masimbung Reef reached 6,8 m (with same depth). The maximum bottom roughness occured at Derawan Reef 2006 reached 0,81 cm and the minimum occured at East Masimbung Reef reached 0,25 cm. <br />
