Summary:Decrease in power factor and the appearance of harmonics will reduce efficiency of energy use on electrical systems at PT. Santos Jaya Abadi 3, and can reduce the cost of reactive power in fines by the PLN, then the presence of voltage sag will affect the equipment that is sensitive to voltage drop and voltage drops during motor starting. Presently power quality has become main concern in industrial electrical system. This statement taken from the fact, the industrial loads are sensitive to the voltage deviation. The final project will discuss the evaluation of quality power reduction on the electrical systems and efforts to overcome PT. Santos Jaya Abadi 3, Sidoarjo. The result of measurement and simulation using ETAP Power Station 6.0.0 show that the installation of capacitor bank is able to save power 174.829 KW, so it will reduce the cost of electricity usage PT. Santos Jaya Abadi 3, Sidoarjo.
