Summary: | There are more than 100 chili cultivars registered in Ministry of Agriculture in Indonesia. Most of the cultivars are hybrid line. The open polinated line cultivars are very rare. The cultivars from open polinated lines are potential as parental in crop science, but the resistance to pathogen are limited. Obtectove of this researc is to determinated the Indonesian Chili resistance response to Fusarium oxysporum infection. The pathogenic fungi causes fusarium wilt in chili plantation. The F. Oxysporum infection was done by root-dip method and the plant response was analysed based on the Disease Severity Index (DSI). The result showed hinghest resistance to Fusarium oxysporum infection was in Branang cultivar with DSI = 5.7 %, so the cultivar was determined as resistant. Whereas, the lowest resistance was in Lembang-1 cultivar with DSI = 34,4 %, therefore the cultivar was determined as high sensitive. |
