Data were gathered from 358 Filipino adolescents with the mean age of 17.60 years (SD =1.32). Results showed that self-esteem significantly and partially mediated the relationship of parenting style and adolescent prosocial behavior. Furthermore, permissive and authoritative parenting, and self-esteem predicted prosocial behavior of adolescents, whereas authoritarian parenting did not predict their prosocial behavior. 2016-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/9496 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository Parenting--Philippines Self-esteem--Philippines Teenagers--Philippines Helping behavior--Philippines Altruism--Philippines Interpersonal relations--Philippines
