Description
Summary:The researchers studied the different factors that help applicants and organizations increase their satisfaction in the online recruitment process in terms of complexity, reliability, assured privacy, and completeness. Through the use of the statistical methods such as the Ordinal Logistic Regression Test, the Mann-Whitney/Kruskal Walis Test, and the Chi- Square Test of Independence, the perceptions of 200 applicants from UNISTAFF indicated that Completeness is the most significant variable that affects their level of satisfaction. Meanwhile, the different perceptions of the organizations (represented by UNISTAFF and Abu Dhabi National Oil Company) were identified through the use of in-depth interviews, which supported the significance of all four variables. Based on the results, it was observed that respondents with varied demographics have a generally similar perception with regard to the different variables identified. The researchers concluded that the framework derived from this study could be used to predict applicant and organizational satisfaction. A larger sample size, however, is recommended to further validate the predictive ability of the model.
