Tomas, Gerard Paolo Y. Yuyek, Gabriel Thomas T. The idea of suki that is deeply embedded in Filipino culture was tackled in this paper in line with the classic idea of the eight levels of social interaction by Santiago and Enriquez (1976). The researchers aimed to establish the idea that being a suki is a transition through the eight levels of social interaction. The researchers employed Consensual Qualitative Research (CQR) through a semi-structured interview to gather data and process the data as well. The participants were referred by colleagues of the researchers who were identified as either a suki buyer or seller. The participants were strictly taken in pairs of their identified buyer or seller counterparts. The results show that a person starts to become a suki when they transition into the pakikipabagay level and could go up to the pakikisangkot level of social interaction. 2014-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/11511 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository Consumer satisfaction Consumers' preferences Customer relations Psychology
